πTom's Sunday Summary - 12th March 2023

Hey , welcome back to
The Sunday Summary
, a collection of insights and my behind the scenes from the past week.
ππ»ββοΈ A London experience:Barber-Surgeons Hall - Monkwell SquareAs a modern livery company, The Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers doesnβt have itβs own hall. Meaning that we get to visit and borrow from many other liveries. This hall was fantastic. Unfortunately I havenβt got any photos inside, but the highlight was the painting βKing Henry VIII and the Barber Surgeonsβ.Applications are open to any London driver (or associated member of the trade) who wishes to join the WCHCD. Separately, the cab guide course is also taking applications from London drivers.ππ»ββοΈ Another London experience:Fabrique bakery - Geffrye StreetMy recent-ish trip to Stockholm πΈπͺ has left me with a serious sweet tooth for cardamom buns.Thankfully the hackney based bakery Fabrique (other locations in London) is there to help me fulfil this unique craving. Their location is on Geffrye street so made a fantastic combo with a trip the the Museum of the Home.π A podcast I'm loving:Nudge - Behavioural Science Made SimplePhill Agnew presents research backed insights into consumer psychology (why do we make the choices that we do). But through the lens of being able to apply this to business and everyday life. One of my favourites is the episode; βCan money buy happiness?β Some real interesting findings here.
Nudge is part of the Hubspot Podcast Network (check out My First Million and Marketing Against The Grain. Both fantastic podcasts also)
