Sunday Summary from Tom the Taxi Driver

Hey , Welcome back to my Sunday Summary, a collection of insights and my behind the scenes from the past week.

🕹️ A London experience:NQ64 Arcade Bar - Berwick Street, SohoOne of the best selections of classic arcade machines in London. Albeit a bit pricier than Four Quarters but the central London location makes for a perfect 8pm gaming break (as I did this week), I had a quick blast on Time Crisis 2 and Outrun 2 (setting a couple of high scores I might add).Well worth checking out!🖼️ Another London experience:Bentley Priory Museum - StanmoreThis was a weird coincidence.I wanted to go to the Sir John Soane museum near Holborn, but not enjoying the idea of a long tube journey into town on a Saturday, my girlfriend suggested the Bentley Priory Museum (effectively a HQ for the Battle of Britain 1940.  Upon visiting I was incredibly surprised to learn that in 1788 Sir John Soane was commissioned to extend and refurbish this beautiful house.Here's a photo of me chilling with a Spitfire outside.

🎙️ A podcast episode that I've enjoyed:

Example: The Dark Side of Money & Fame - (The Diary Of A CEO podcast)Many people (myself included) didn't realise that Example never stopped making music and has still been incredibly successful since his original 2010/2011 boom. I think it's illustrative of the social world that we live in, whereby someone can be incredibly famous on Instagram, but unknown in the realms or Twitter and vice-versa.  There's so many outlets where people can feature and just because you're not on the radio doesn't mean you're not successful.He's also a black cab user! (Spoiler alert, his cousin is a London cabbie), sharing a recent story of the cabbie enquiring "my eldest used to watch you, I coulda sworn you retired", Example replying "I never stopped, in fact you're dropping me at my gig in Brixton".  Example ended up putting the cabbie's 3 kids and partners on the guest list for the gig!
