👍 The Sunday Summary - 19th September 2021

Sunday Summary from Tom the Taxi Driver

Hey , welcome back to my Sunday Summary, a collection of insights and my behind the scenes from the past week.

📺 Some unfortunate news:My YouTube channelYou may have already spotted, that I've removed a good portion of my content from YouTube. In short, the way I have been making my videos and the content I share, has been a massive oversight on my part. Multiple issues and concerns have been brought to my attention, which I have had to act upon.I'm sure I will be able to go into more detail in the future.  But at this time, I am fine. I haven't been hacked.  I will still be making taxi content going forward, however it will filmed in a different manner.  I will keep you updated as I know more.It may be a few weeks before my next upload, this is while I collect my thoughts and re-orient the direction of the channel.🙏A big thanks to:Floglass - DagenhamExactly one week later, my taxi glass is now repaired.I will share the full details in a future video, but in short.  National Windscreens (the company my insurance uses as default), were about as useful as a chocolate teapot.  A subscriber reached out to me on Instagram and doing his own digging was able to recommend Lee at Floglass, I wish I called him on day one! As he got the window super quick and fitted it next day!🇬🇧 What I'm listening to:Pushing the Tides - MastodonThis was recommend in my Apple Music weekly new music mix. I've not really explored the music of Mastodon before, but this release from their new album has certainly got me hooked!

🎵 A London experience:The Garden at Buckingham PalaceYou may have seen on my Instagram a selfie of me at Buckingham Palace Gardens.Wow, what an experience! I love uncovering different areas of London.  For me it's like when you roam a map on a video game, and it physically shows the areas you have travelled on your map. So hard to believe that I'm right in the sprawl of areas that I drive everyday. If you do visit, I'd definitely recommend taking picnic gear, it's a once in a lifetime experience in my mind, not a view you get to come by this easily.  The highlight for me was looking over to the island in the lake (yes a lake in the gardens of Buckingham Palace).  It's off access and only a few members of staff from BP are allowed to visit there, it's just an incredible sight to process in your mind (an island, on a lake, in the garden of Buckingham Palace in the middle of London!)Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please feel free to reach out to me with your; comments, concerns or just general conversation.  I'd love to know what you're up to or what you might be working on! 📝😁Have a great week everyone!Tom
