Sunday Summary from Tom the Taxi Driver

Hey , Welcome back to my Sunday Summary, a collection of insights and my behind the scenes from the past week.

💂‍♂️ A London experience:Fullers Brewery TourMost brewery tours are; "we add hops and yeast, here's the boring stainless steel drums they are stored in" blah blah. But Fullers has probably been the most insightful brewery I have visited, largely because of the history. It's still the 19thC buildings and machinery (though no longer used) inside. It just had that much more of a charm than other tours. And I didn't realise how extensive their drink offering was! 🎧 What I've been listening to (audiobook):   The Colour of Magic - Terry Pratchett (Audible)Get a free 30 day trial of Audible HEREI really struggle with fiction. That applies not just to books but films too.  Simple narratives, few characters, that's enough for me to handle.This week I decided to start of the Discworld series. I have some understanding of the universe and can visualise the characters and scenery with help from previous exposure to the video game (Discworld II - Missing Presumed).I hope to have it as an escape from my always on mind.📰 What I'm reading (online):Unbuilt London Archive - Ian VisitsResearching images for the John Nash route (featured in my latest video). I stumbled across this website, and some incredible articles of features that could have been installed in London.Sometimes it's nice to just ponder how the view you might have in a particular area of the capital, could be completely different had certain innovation or events not changed the course of history.🎵 On heavy rotation:Heart Shaped Box (Cover) - HybridIn my mind, a cover song has to wildly different from the original but still make you appreciate the former. Hybrid have knocked this out of the park. It just has an incredible energy, it keeps the original strings, but the female vocals and pumping beat are intense.
