The Sunday Summary
Hey , welcome to the Sunday Summary, a collection of insights and my behind the scenes from the past week.
📺 What I’m watching:"Clarkson's Farm" - Amazon Prime.I very rarely watch TV. I just find in comparison to YouTube, TV to be too long winded. I've lost count of how many times I've started a series to get just 2 episodes into it as I've lost time to continue it.The exception recently has been Clarkson's Farm.I do look up to Clarkson in some ways, you might notice some of his style come through on my "POV shift videos". So once I heard of this release I had to watch it.It's really insightful to see something as rudimentary as a farm, captured so brilliantly. Also the entertainment factor that Clarkson brings. I'm only 2 episodes in (🤞 fingers crossed I continue) but it is a beautiful series so far!🙏 A big thank you to:Uncle Ben - 🎵 Tom the Taxi Driver Song 🎵I just had to feature this in the Sunday Summary. Ben reached out to me last week with a song he made exclusively for me! I didn't request this, he just made it off his own back and I think it's brilliant! Had me in stitches. I share it with you and if you need a song made, please do get in contact with him. Links above.📜 A quote I'm pondering:"You won't get rich renting out your time" - Naval RavikantLast year when work was slack in the cab, I received an offer for a remote working job (approximately 20 hours per week). At the time, I was juggling cab work to pay the finance, producing content for YouTube and the likelihood of a job with obligated hours. One half of me was saying; "just grind, you'll find the hours, you need the money" whilst the other half was repeating Naval's quote. I chose the latter and I am incredibly glad that I did.Now with YouTube growth far exceeding my initial expectations, I come back to this quote. I am looking at shifting my working hours in the cab and how much time I allocate to YouTube. Stay tuned 👍Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please feel free to reach out to me with your; comments, concerns or just general conversation. I'd love to know what you're up to or what you might be working on! 📝😁Have a great week everyone!Tom
