Hey , Welcome back to my Sunday Summary, a collection of insights and my behind the scenes from the past week.

📹 Experience of the week:Showman - Derren Brown (Thanks Mum for the tickets!)One of my favourite performers and personalities.  Having a bit of a magic background myself, I’m always astounded at the new heights Derren brings. Whether that is his showmanship (this man is the definition of) or beautiful narratives. Because of the nature of the show, I don’t want to give it away.  But a hypnosis set-up weaved into magic effect just floored everyone, pure wonder and amazement.  I feel like he is an anomaly, someone who will be revered for decades and centuries to come, so it’s always a pleasure to see him in the flesh!💂‍♂️ A London discovery:   Nelson's Column fire damageStopping for breakfast with a tour group in The Knights Templar, I had a friendly chat with a cabbie who told me about damage on the base of Nelsons Column, often perceived as Blitz damage.  This Londonist article explains it far better than I ever could, but it is a feature I did not know! Every day is a school day.🚕 Changes to tour times:  Having experienced a hectic schedule over the past fortnight (4am start at Heathrow Wednesday just gone). I’ve simplified my tour bookings.  As a result I now conduct my 3 hour tours from 2pm - 5pm, Monday to Friday. The connection with the lyrics just hit so hard, it will forever be a song I turn to in tough times.
