🗞Tom's Sunday Summary - 26th February 2023

Hey , welcome back to

The Sunday Summary

, a collection of insights and my behind the scenes from the past week.

🎈 It's that time of year!:Children's Magic Taxi Tour 2023 - Fundraising on JustGivingThe magical taxi tour will be taking place this September 2023 and is raising funds to be able to take 100 taxi drivers, sick children and their families, support staff, hotel costs etc.If you are unaware of the charity or trip, I made a video of my first experience in 2022, I will be donating my time and use of my taxi for the 2023 trip.  As well as donating all the ad revenue raised from last years trip.🏋🏻 A gadget I'm loving:WHOOP 4.0 - Your 24/7 Personalised Fitness and Health CoachI’ve had Apple Watches, fit bits etc. but lately I’ve been feeling the need for a fitness/health tracker. Particularly with regards to sleep. I also didn’t want a “watch” or smartwatch, as I don’t enjoy endless notifications and turning them off is fairly pointless. The Whoop has been incredible. It’s designed to be worn constantly so can monitor lots of body measurements and very easily spot anomalies. I wanted to primarily track sleep, but the strain/recovery indicator has made me focus on the waking hours much more to get a complete picture of my health.  Thursday/Friday I felt nauseated and the strap very much reflected the fact that I was run down and needed rest (hence why no upload this week).  Just check out the data below. As you can see, despite getting more than adequate sleep, my recovery stats were much higher than my baseline averages, indicating that I'm possibly sick. Following these metrics, it’s able to track stress in a similar way, which is mind boggling. It's comfortable and unobtrusive and can be charged whilst wearing (via a battery pack).  I haven't taken mine off in the 2 weeks of owning it.If you're interested, using my referral link will get you a free WHOOP 4.0 and one month free: https://join.whoop.com/C53E7948💷 A new minimal wallet:WALLFID Magsafe WalletI’ve moved away from my Herschel Charlie wallet, featured in my product heavy “What’s in my cab video”.

A sucker for travelling light/minimal.  I soon realised that this wallet was only carrying 3/4 cards and nothing else.  So I decided to utilise the MagSafe on my iPhone.

Those who don’t know, iPhones made in the past couple of years or so have a magnetic feature called MagSafe.  It allows for a secure way of attaching accessories, chargers and cases.

I opted for the Amazon Cheapy WALLFID,  it holds up the 3 cards, and as I have the iPhone mini it aligns to the edges of the phone perfectly.  Protecting the back of the phone, and making it easier to hold.  It’s one less thing to worry about in my pockets.📖 What I'm reading:Your Next Five Moves - Master the Art of Business Strategy: Patrick Bet-DavidI wanted to read this as I'm very much a 1 move at a time guy. Plus wanting to have some kind of long term aim for taxi driving and the YouTube channel.  This book hasn't disappointed so far, and has thrown up plenty of eyeopening thoughts, such as: "do I want a big business/channel".

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Please feel free to reach out to me with your; comments, concerns or just general conversation.

I'd love to know what you're up to or what you might be working on!

Have a great week everyone!
