Sunday Summary from Tom the Taxi Driver

Hey , Welcome back to my Sunday Summary, a collection of insights and my behind the scenes from the past week.

📹 My biggest achievement this week:I filmed a video editing course!This has been on my list forever! And I had to sacrifice a day of working in the cab to get it over the line (and I've now lost my voice). I want to extend my range of content available online, so I filmed an in-depth guide to editing with Final Cut Pro X (I actually use one of my videos which will be on YouTube in the near future).  I have been editing with FCP for decades, so was great to share my insightI will update you when it's available, it will be on a popular course platform so very affordable and even accessible with a free trial. 🎧 What I've been listening to (audiobook):   How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big: Kind of the Story of My Life - Scott Adams (Audible)Get a free 30 day trial of Audible HEREI love books that offer advice against the usual grain.  Adams goes into depth how it's not an advice book,  but rather a collection of his unconventional experiences, and I'm loving it. Entertaining, captivating and concise (much like Adam's most popular "The Day You Became A Better Writer"). 🧘 What I'm trying:Waking Up (App) - Sam HarrisMy mind is a mess. Managing the priorities of work, the YouTube channel, business growth areas, and just general life existence.  Hamster wheel is the image that comes to mind when I picture my brain.I'd tried this app on the free trial, but I'm investing in the annual subscription this time.So much of my decisions (or lack of) are generated by my monkey mind. If I can't prioritise thoughts or remove non-sensical thinking patterns, I'm not living up to my best life.  I often find myself frustrated at the day to day decisions I make, and often it's the right or best decision. It's just my mind programming is all wrong and needs a bit of a reboot.  I'll update you of my progress.🎵 On heavy rotation:Lost In The Grandeur - KoRnIt's just unapologetically KoRn, it's an instant classic to me!
