💂🏻‍♀️🇬🇧 Taxi and trade update:New taxi rank - EustonFrom Sunday 7th April 2024, the Euston taxi rank will be moving from Western Gardens to Eastern Gardens. From what I’ve seen, it looks similar to the carousel on the Nurburgring, but there’s a few interesting features to note. Firstly there’s sensors under the tarmac which will display availability on the rank, and secondly it is apparently geofenced, meaning that PHV drivers will apparently receive tickets if they enter the rank to drop it. Pretty busman’s holiday, but I’m excited to see how it looks in practice.  I will certainly capture a video when it goes live (after all it can’t be any worse than the current set-up).📺 Shift video incoming!:Saturday 6th April at 10:00, I'm back on YouTube!!!

💻 A tech gadget I'm loving:Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Pro w/ 2.6ft Thunderbolt 3 Cable Last year I purchased a MacBook Air with M2 chip to make my editing workflow much more efficient.  The only is…. Ports…. Once you connect a monitor and an external hard drive, you’re out of ports!I faffed around with a few cheap USB-C hubs, with varying levels of success.  Eventually the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 dock found its way into my life.  It’s expensive.  But effectively when I dock my Mac, it’s just one cable that provides power, monitor, drives, everything!  So much less faff! And has sped up my workflow when it comes to importing multiple SD cards etc. 

🏋🏻 💪🏻 Gym progress:I'm bulking upFor the very first time in my life I’m actively aiming for a “bulk”. About a decade ago I was classed as “overweight”.  I’ve always been scared to see any upward trends on the scale. I’ve always been in a huge calorie deficit (around 1600 a day is maintenance for me), which of course overtime has wrecked my metabolism.I’m now reverse dieting (a process where you slowly bring up your maintenance calories week on week), alongside the MAPS Anabolic training programme in the gym.   In short, weight is going up slightly, but as is my strength and overall muscle tone. I’m loving this progress and once I’ve built my baseline metabolic rate up, can’t wait to begin a cutting cycle!In the month of March I’ve made it to the gym 14 times.  It’s been a very long time that I’ve been this motivated to workout.  Watch this space!Other tools I'm using are the Hevy App for logging workouts and MyFitnessPal for macro tracking
