💂🏻‍♀️ A London experience:The Mansion HouseThis week I was lucky to get tickets to the Mansion House in the City of London.  My highlight has to be the grand Egyptian Hall, particularly the statues in the alcoves, commissioned after the great exhibition of 1851, ironically representing figures in history who were terrible dinner hosts. They were actually setting up for a dinner for the Worshipful Company of Actuaries, with the Lord Mayor in residence. I was also amazed to learn that other than the stain glass windows being blown out (but painstakingly repaired to former glory), the building suffered no damage during the Blitz of WWII.📖 A London book I'm reading:Rather Splendid London Walks: Jools GuidesI've got a lot more from this book than expected! I assumed it would be another typical walks of London book, but seriously impressed with how condensed and packed this is with information.  It's not only a treasure trove of facts, but delivered with great entertainment true to the Joolz Guide YouTube style.  If you haven't seen Julian's YouTube channel then I highly recommend it here.🎧 An audiobook I'm loving:Prison: A Survival Guide - Carl CattermoleThis book serves as a somewhat entertaining memoir, but also a useful guide for anyone going to prison or related to.  Some salient takeaways the author gives, is that whilst prison is a hostile environment, he compares with 1am in a busy town/city nightlife scene.  If you can hold yourself together in that scenario, then prison is a similar edge. It has some great insights to female prisons too.  While relationships between prisoners will generally not exist in male prisons, female prisoners talk that “having a bird, whilst doing bird” is very much the norm.🎙️ A podcast I'm loving:Menace to Sobriety - Daniel O'Reilly (Dapper Laughs)After a couple of attempts, O’Reilly is now sober and has a fantastic podcast preaching its message.  It practically does what it says on the tin, I'm binging previous episodes and the wide variety of guests that have opened up about their sober journey. 

📺  No upload this week:I've been hammering work in the taxi over the last week, (so much so my Whoop strap is telling me, I'm getting ill!). My plan is to have a fairly solid week of editing this coming week, just so I get ahead on all my projects and have a few good weeks of uploads for you all!
