Sunday Summary from Tom the Taxi Driver

Hey , welcome back to my Sunday Summary, a collection of insights and my behind the scenes from the past week.

🍺 A London Experience:The Warrington Hotel - PubVisible from the Warrington Crescent roundabout with multiple K2 phone boxes outside, Victorian touches, The Warrington Hotel just looks so inviting! One of those big imposing boozers that I could happily spend half an afternoon looking out at a gloomy wintery London.  I'm gradually ticking off a lot of pubs in London (as well as a spreadsheet to accompany), I may look at sharing more of these in the future.Only downside, was that there wasn't a huge selection of beers*, but the decor and setting certainly makes up for it, I just love that huge semi-circular bar!*You might remember in a previous Sunday Summary about my thoughts on alcohol, and how I abstained for over 100 days, I am drinking but just being mindful of how and when I bring alcohol into my life.📺 What I've been watching:Magic Medicine - NetflixA UK documentary about the trials of Psilocybin in heavily depressed patients. While it doesn't frame Psilocybin as the miracle cure for the patients studied (there's a mixed outcome and various relapses), there is some incredible insight to how this could be used as a tool going forward. I share it, as we never know what may strike us mentally in life (as illuminated in the documentary), as a schedule 1 drug Psilocybin (magic mushrooms), it is practically impossible to get this kind of access or trial in the UK.  The more conversations it sparks, the more it is on peoples radar, the better the outcome for people suffering from these conditions.▶️ YouTube Updates:You may have spotted that my YouTube has been quiet over the past few weeks.I've got several studio style videos in editing, as well as some challenge style videos planned.  I'm also pleased to announce that YFood 🥤 will be supporting my channel once again in the following month (if you've not tried their meal replacement shakes, my link here or TAXI10 will get you 10% off!).I also have some travel plans lined for the new year specifically for the purpose of filming 😊 🇫🇷🎧 What I'm listening to:Rise Up (feat. Tom Morello) - Cypress Hill & Tom Morello - 2010The iconic rap tones of Cypress Hill, with the funky guitar grooves of Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave), what's not to love!  It's only come into my life recently thanks to Kerrang Radio.
