🐟 It's officially kipper season!If you don't know, Kipper season is the first few months of a new year where taxi work is noticeably quieter! In some ways I enjoy it, as it’s much calmer/easier to drive, you can relax a bit more have a listen to a good podcast or audiobook, rather than the constant barrage of traffic and difficult customers.  Obvious downside is less money of course. I joined Paddington Station just to have a quick bite before starting my shift, waiting a full 45 minutes before getting a job. I remained on the streets and a little bit of ranking after that, and whilst not an amazing day, I was able to tick over.🏋🏻‍♀️ A gadget that's helping me out massively:Theraband Resistance FlexBar - Tennis ElbowAfter a really bad tumble on my trials bike in Leicester approx 3 months ago, I still have a lot of functional pain in my elbow. I’ve had several physio visits and still have a reduced range of motion, believed to be tennis elbow (who knew you could get it from impact?).  It’s now at the point where the tendons need strengthening and this twist device is working wonderfully. I also bought one of the old school gyroscopic power-balls to aid in this. 

📖 A podcast I gained insight from:Mark Manson - The Tim Ferriss Podcast - The Stories Behind 15+ Million Copies Sold, Lessons from Will Smith, Personal Reinvention, and MoreI’m sure many of you have read The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck. This was incredible to learn how Mark Manson is still navigating the wave of success from that bestseller, particularly how he’s gearing up for more visual content such as YouTube.   Well worth a listen!📺 A juicy shift video for you - Coming this Saturday 14th Jan:I worked New Years Eve!Begrudgingly worked it, but what a wonderful opportunity to share with you what working this shift is like!  Is it the busiest night of the year?
