🇺🇸 🤠 A YouTube week:

VidSummit - Dallas, TexasVidSummit is the largest YouTube creator focussed conference in the world. I was on the fence about attending last year, and was kicking myself that I didn’t attend, so this year I’ve made it a priority.I came into the conference with a level of confusion, I mention some of these concerns in my play button unboxing video).Do I focus on more growth? Do I try and diversify my efforts? What is the ultimate metric here?The most illuminating insight from “HopeScope”. She specifically spoke how her growth plateaued because she was known as the "legging queen".  Her audience demanded a certain video from her (something I currently feel engulfed by), and it was only by understanding exactly who her audience were that she was able to gradually bring in new topics.I want to ensure that whatever video I create, it resonates with the audience.  I believe this will give me greater confidence and conviction when producing ideas, or at least serve as another litmus test when establishing “is this a good idea?”It's also given me some insight into why some of my previous challenge formats didn't work, so there might be scope to retest those!

🍖🇺🇸 Also whilst in Dallas:I managed to visit some great local joints and spots recommended to me by you guys and previous passengers in my taxi. This included; Fort Worth Stock yards, Hard Eight BBQ, Terry Blacks (the whole block smelt smokey!) as well as grassy knoll, the infamous site where Kennedy was assassinated!
