💭 A thought observation

A weekend car…

My taxi is my only vehicle.
I use it for everything—work, shops, holidays, the lot.

I’ve often thought about getting a weekend car.
Something fun. Sporty. Different.

But here’s the catch:
Most weekends, I’m biking.
To bike, I need to drive.
To drive, I need space for the bike.
A sporty car? I’d have to take the bike apart.
A van? Hmm.
Oh wait… that’s basically what the taxi is.

I still daydream though.
Saw a G-Wagon at the gym the other day.
Big. Bold. Popular.
Made me wonder:
Are we buying cars for ourselves, or for how they look to others?

Truth is, you rarely see your car.
You sit inside it.
So maybe what matters is the feel
The seat, the buttons, the drive.
Cup holder? Bonus.

Maybe I’d be just as happy with a stripped-back Tesla dash.
No fluff. No gears. Just drive.

Anyway, the point is:
I don’t need another car.
And if I had to pick one… I couldn’t.

So here's a question for you—

🏃 Updated Green Hut link!

Last week, I shared the link to the Green Hut Run Club where 10 cab drivers, including myself, will be raising funds for shelter repairs. Unfortunately, that link was broken and didn't allow people to donate, so this has now been updated.

In terms of donation, I would highly recommend the amount that was done by our first donor Mr. Styles, also a fellow cab driver £130, which of course equates to £10 for each shelter. Or £65, as that is £5 per shelter.

I will be releasing more content related to this as the time approaches. Can't wait for this one!
