The Sunday Summary

2024 self reflections, 🍕 Pizza and 🎷 Jazzy Hip-hop

Hey , welcome back to The Sunday Summary a collection of insights and my behind the scenes from the past week.

📻📰 A London feature

I contributed to this telegraph piece that got picked up by other news outlets and Iain Dale on LBC. Bit of a full circle moment to realise I started my YouTube channel to help raise the profile of London taxi’s and help our everyday struggle get heard by the media and general public. And this effectively does just that! Lot’s of the facts and figures I shared came from my video “33% of London’s Taxi Drivers are Missing - Why?

🍕 A London experience

A pizzeria just outside of Camden Town (well Mornington Crescent if I’m being pedantic), themed after the cult classic film “Lost Boys”.

If you love metal/alt music and vibes, pizza with sauce shaped as a pentagram, and wicked cocktails, take a visit here!

📖 A book I’m loving

The king of mental models? This book was republished earlier this year, the original copy was difficult to obtain and very expensive, but been on the reading list for a very long time. When I saw it on the shelf in Waterstones I had to snap it up instantly. Worthy of the hardback!

💭 A thought I’m digesting

I found this From Williamson’s episode: “16 Lessons from 2024” (Modern Wisdom).

🎧 On heavy rotation

Jazzy and groovy 90’s hip hop beat. If you like this kind of groove, I found it in this whole mix here; FULL VINYL | Nujabes | Jazzy Hiphop Set | Elly

✍🏻 Some journal prompts I’ve been mulling over

What do I want from my YouTube channel in 2025?

I went to a dinner earlier this month with creators and business owners. I was flippantly asking this question to others, BUT it completely stumped me when applied to my own creative endeavours!

Here’s a couple more that take a little bit more thought than first expected

What do I think is productive that isn’t?

Chris Williamson

What was one of my favourite ways to spend time this year?

DayOne Journal
