The Sunday Summary - 25th January 2026

🙏🏻 Patreon, 🧑🏼‍⚕️ Psychiatry and 🗼Skyscrapers

Hey everyone, welcome back to the Sunday summary!

🙏🏻 I’m back on Patreon

Patreon.com/TomtheTaxiDriver
As part of my goals and mission for the channel, I’ve had the stark realisation that my channel probably isn’t going to grow much bigger than it currently is (and frankly I probably don’t want that!)
So, instead of chasing view numbers and trying to go viral (which inherently corrupts the nature of my content). I’m leaning more into my community and producing the videos that my audience wants.
There’s no obligation to join, and the main perk is a credit in the shift video. All of my content will remain as accessible as before, Patreons and YouTube subscribers will just get a short weekly video update.

📖 What I’m reading

You Don’t Have to Be Mad to Work Here: A Psychiatrists Life - Dr. Benji Waterhouse
I think his genre of book is my favourite. A professional of any field breaking down the exact nuances of; what goes into their job, common misconceptions and the limitations of their employer/workplace.
Waterhouse’s narration on the audio version is brilliant, his flat deadpan tone, further connotes the environment and contrasts that he works within. Well recommended!

📺 What I’m watching on YouTube

I Bought a Skyscraper… You Decide What’s Next!
I have no idea what the back is here, but I’m engaged. Beautiful visuals of an old beautiful NYC skyscraper. Must have taken the guy absolutely ages just to move between each shot!

🎙️ This week on Cab Chat

I go deep on my SERU test experience. Cab drivers if you are fearing this, it is incredibly easy. Feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions or need some support
