🇪🇪 More on Tallinn, Estonia

Beautiful city, very scandi vibes but with an Eastern European shadow. The medieval walled city was incredible, food was great! If you go, I have a few recommendations.

Peppersack Restaurant - Combined a bit of Bavarian, sprinkle in some medieval vibes, hearty Eastern European vibes with a bit of herring to make you feel like you could be in Scandinavia. Very reasonable prices for probably the most central restaurant.

Ring Spa & Sauna - I’d go back just for this. 10 saunas… yes 10! 2 cold plunges (indoor and out). This was a real rush and very little faff (bonus!). Buy food and drinks buy the pool using your wristband and then pay on exit.

Linnahall - Abadoned soviet era concert hall. This was used in the opening shots of the Nolan film; Tenet. Cool vibes here

I think I might have shared this before, a cover of the Dusty Springfield classic. This really is spooky and gives me the chills on those late drives at night.

🥼 A game changer

Dickies Waldenburg Vest Jacket (Gillet)

This firmly puts me into the taxi driver stereotype (what’s next? a flat cap and a cynical attitude?). However, this is a game changer for driving. Body warmth but no restrictions at the arms. If you have a driver in your family, get them a gillet for Christmas, this is ace, why has it taken me this long?
