🇺🇸 🎥 Hello from the states!
I’m currently in Bentonville, Arkansas. Producing media and content on behalf of The Shin Dig for the annual Bike Fest. So still working, albeit on slightly different stuff to taxis!
🕶️ A new splurge
These are incredible! I was only interested in the video features these offer, as I’m hoping to up my Instagram game. But WOW all the AI features these offer are insane. As well as the built in speakers.
In short, I thought they might be a bit gimmicky, but the ability to just browse your phone and listen to content as though you have headphones in, but then still be present/talk with people nearby. The live translation feature is wild!
Trying with some of my Spanish friends here in the states, they talk in Spanish, the glasses then talk to me in English, I talk back in English and my phone provides a transcript of what I’m saying in Spanish. This is the future!
🎵 How I use licenced music in my videos
You may have noticed that many of my videos contained licensed music. This is something that previously wasn’t possible on YouTube due to copyright restrictions. However a company called Lickd now offer usage of huge well known tracks for a small fee (depending on the size of your channel). I actually caught up with them at TubeFest, they are a London based company, and the more creators who use the service, the bigger the library can grow.
They are offering a free 7 day trial. I’m not sponsored by them but absolutely love the service!
📺 What I’m Watching
This helps explain why Westminster Station is so vast and supported by big pillars. Never even thought about the proximity to the Thames and Big Ben being a factor!
