The Sunday Summary

🌿 Brutalist plants, 🕰️ Why supermarkets have clock towers? and a ⛴️ comedy boat

💂🏻‍♀️ A London experience

I’ve always been enamoured with the Barbican, and the conservatory is arguably one of the highlights of the whole estate. Of course the jarring contrast of brutalist architecture with the beautiful plants.
This is my second visit, and I found a much deeper appreciation of the range of plants since collecting my own house plants you’ll have seen in my videos.

🎤😂 Another London experience

Situated opposite Black Cab Coffee, Nine Elms Lane (which I would also recommend), twice a week this space transforms into a comedy barge. This was a Christmas gift purchased by a friend, but would definitely do again as it was outstanding value and a great way to wrap up a fun day in London. Pizza, drink and dark comedy for the price of a day travel card, what’s not to love?

🎧 On heavy rotation

I could be lazing around in a hammock on a beautiful beach somewhere and this would be the soundtrack. The beat is the rough cadence of my brain (after caffeine). Results may vary.

📺 What I’m watching

We kind of have Essex to thank for this. Beautiful video, very well packaged (I had to find out why!), would love to see more of this kind of content (intriguing subjects, not necessarily supermarkets)

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please feel free to reach out to me with your; comments, concerns or just general conversation. I'd love to know what you're up to or what you might be working on!
