📝 A taxi and life update

The streets of London have got much busier with taxi work! The longest kipper season looks to be over, and a new shift video is coming next week!

I will be moving uploads to Fridays, as Saturday is the perfect way to bring a mood down of the weekend if something goes wrong, or underperforms.

My taxi is 6 years old this week. 140k miles and still the original ERAD!

I’ve also started and outlined my next book. I’ve mentioned this previously, and YouTube production has taken a lot of priority of the years. I’m now able to commit more time to this project, which will be an autobiographical look at being a new entrant to the taxi trade and how I’ve learnt the ropes, plus all the juicy stories along the way!

Having another stab at fiction, I loved Crouch’s Dark Matter (now an Apple TV series). This is equally mind bending, but without the deep science that normally puts me to sleep!

My Farewell to GT Bicycles - Hans Rey

I had the pleasure of sharing lodgings with the GT legend earlier this year.  Unfortunately due to restructuring from the parent company, they’ve decided to fold this legendary bike brand (but keep Mongoose and Schwinn 🤔). It’s a wonderfully produced video that shares just how incredible Hans Rey career has been with GT.

Short and concise, love it when a YouTube video is exactly as long as it needs to be. Plugs the curiosity gap you’ve always wanted to know about these trailers on the side of the motorway!

I Walked to EVERY London Landmark in 24 Hours - JackSucksAtLife

Loving this new kind of format and how Jack is taking risks with this kind of stuff. Makes a lot more lifestyle, more long form and is certainly popular on YouTube at the moment. Some serious walking across London and some wonderful information along the way!  You’ll enjoy this if you enjoy London.
