🚖 The Youngest London Cabbie

Congratulations to Mo The Cabbie who you may have seen has gone viral for being London’s youngest cabbie. He’s recently started a TikTok and is inspiring a new generation of London cabbies!
In terms of age, he actually passed his Knowledge before 21. You can begin studying from age 18, but you can only receive your badge and start driving legally from 21. I’ve met many drivers who started at a similar age to Mo, but fair play to him for riding this wave and capturing a new audience!

This week I was fortunate enough to work with The Running Channel again.  This time exclusively as a driver, allowing presenter Mo could relive his recent London marathon effort.  It will be on their channel shortly, and I shall update once it’s out. In this episode Phill took part in an experiment I’ve never quite had the guts to try, staring at a painting for 3 hours!
Interesting conversation with Oliver Burkeman on “is patience a super power?”. They also talk on “raw dogging”, the idea of going on long haul flights without using the entertainment or listening to anything, something else I’ve been tempted to try!

📺 No Upload this week

I’ve had a little bit of a strategy week, put in a few hours in the cab, as well as visiting TubeFest 2025 in Birmingham.

Half marathon training is going well, although I went a little hard on my 18k run last week and my body is feeling the effects from it! If you haven’t already donated, the link is here, and the Hackney Half takes places 2 weeks today if you want to see me hopefully cross the finish line!
