The Sunday Summary
π Driverless taxis, π Gripping fiction and π Productivity purgatory
ππ» An uneventful weekend
Hi all, this weekend Iβve been in London, that might sound unsurprising, but French air traffic controllers striking meant that my other filming obligations in Switzerland π¨πhad to be cancelled, so I'm here instead.
πΎ A sporting experience
Padel tennis
I finally got to try Padel. I can see what the hype is about. all the faffery that is associated with tennis completely goes out the window of padel. I think I can refer to it as "second chance tennis". If you miss the first volley, you can let it bounce off the back wall and have a second go. The fact that you have the glass wall behind you means that you're never too far away from picking the ball up, so it just removes all the inefficiency and faff of tennis. Can't wait to play again! although it's quite expensive and difficult to find an open court.
π A book Iβm loving
Finally found myself some more fiction that intrigues me. Slight bias to 90βs and 00βs gaming. This has been addictive.
πΊ A Video Iβm watching
This hit hard, I've also heard it referred to as productivity purgatory. I.e. You canβt just go for walk for the sake of a walk, it has to be for the objective of increased wellbeing so that can have positive effects on productivity and other areas of life. This is a constant spiral for me
