The Sunday Summary

🏛️ Museum of the home, 🍽️ London dining and 🫖 Awesome afternoon tea

Hey everyone! Welcome back to the Sunday summary! I had highly enjoyable day out in London yesterday, so some great experiences to report on!

🏛️ A museum revisit

Museum of the home
The highlight is seeing how typical homes (interior settings) have changed through time. Particularly loved the 90’s bedroom and what the home of 2049 would look like!

🍷 A culinary experience

The Barbary - Neals Yard
Fine dining in London isn’t my forte. In fact it’s slightly embarrassing when a customers for a recommendation, and I have none. Well, I now have a strong option to add to that short list.

Tucked away in Neals Yard. The Barbary is a super slick operation, bar seating directly in front of the kitchen for just 24 people. The whole experience, food and ambience is incredible.   Uniquely intimate but also buzzing environment! Very highly recommended!

🫖 Awesome afternoon tea

Carriages of Cambridge
This is a perfect stocking filler for Christmas.  Just outside of Cambridge is a recreation of a beautiful train station, which carriages parked so enjoy afternoon tea on.  They don’t move but it’s a beautiful piece, with so much attention to detail.  My second time visiting and it’s well worth a trip with family or relatives!

📺 What I’m watching

UCI Trials World Championship 2025 - Saudi Arabia
Sadly couldn’t make it to this one. But wow! What a final! Assuming most of you aren’t trials fans, I can spoil the fact that GB took home 2 podium places! Yes lads!

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'd love to know what you're up to or what you might be working on!

Have a great week!

Tom
