London taxis have an induction loop fitted. I have no idea how it works or what it even sounds like, but Chris was able to share his findings with me. It’s also mad hear the electric motor working away in this.

🎙️ I’ve banned myself from listening to podcasts

Gradually I’ve converted all of my media consumption in “productive” endeavours. I.e. to warrant something the time and attention to enter my brain, it must be “productive” or enhance my life in someway to have a net benefit.
The problem with this, a lot of podcasts and self help topics constantly spout how “I felt empty, now my life is better” or “To get X result, I did Y”. Some of these topics are good to get you out of a rut. But when the majority of my content is this, it’s just all consuming and overwhelming.

To quote an aptly named Medium article “You Don’t Have a Knowledge Problem. You Have a Being Problem.”

I’m going to remove the constant input and assess how it makes me feel.
