For those like me addicted to self help and productivity bucket. This is full of slammers that really help reinforce what is the entire point of optimising your life?  Turns out it’s social.  Ultimately everything should fulfill some kind of social aim, otherwise what’s the point of learning or improving if you have no one to share it with.  I will definitely be coming back to this.

CABBIE the movie
The Italian Job comes to London. I’ve been made aware of this planned movie, think; Snatch or Lock Stock. Any gritty gangster style movie, but featuring London taxis. It features The Knowledge and a look into the world of London taxis.

Director Kat Magrowitz has done some serious research and deep dive into the London taxi trade as well as contacting all the prominent bods to ensure this film is seriously taxi. To get it off the ground, they need to produce a “sizzler”, effectively a trailer that will be shown at Cannes Film Festival to peak interest in the project.

Geographical Journeys: Microlectures - Royal Geographical Society

On Thursday 16th April, my friend, taxi colleague and damn impressive tour guide, Dave Cunnington*, who Will be giving a talk at the Royal Geographical Society.

The Knowledge: becoming a black cab driver. Is a talk amongst 6 other geographical experts. It can be viewed online or in person.
